Chic Chateau is a completely solar powered property situated in Haiti's south-east coast. It sleeps 6-8 comfortably, with additional space for young children. Kids sleep for free! Whether you're on a work retreat, with a yoga crew or just friends looking for a beach getaway this is your space.

The two story guest bungalow offers 2 private bedrooms - upstairs the Safari Room and below the Garden Room which opens on to organic gardens. Both guest rooms feature queen size beds and luxury linens, en suite toilet and sink.

The main villa features an open-concept kitchen that opens onto verandas, pool and hammock swings. The Master Suite with en suite bath has unforgettable sea views from second story of the main villa, furnished with persian carpets, antique wood screens and a four poster bed.

The buildings were constructed by longtime Haitian expat, Janet, and a crew of 30 local craftsmen in 2015 using local materials, and traditional Haitian building methods. Design features include hand-carved french doors, a sweeping mosaic veranda and signature thatch roofing. Our water flows fresh from the capped spring high in the mountains. Epitome of relaxation.

This place is amazing with the most breathtaking views of the ocean and gorgeous sunrises. The Chateau is the epitome of relaxation, is also a quick five-minute drive to the beach. One of my favorite things about the chateau however is it's also eco-friendly and you're completely surrounded by nature. Lots of greenery! The host, madame Janet, is a sweetheart and very accommodating.”

A Haven in Haiti

Janet's place has truly become a haven for me here in Haiti. This time I spent 3 days on a work retreat and it was the perfect place for quality focused time, strong internet, and creative energy. As usual, I'm counting the days until I go back to Chic Chateau.
